It does not feel like it has been 2 years since Boseman passed. The film started off with the usual marvel theme sequence. But instead of showing the marvel clan, it was different clips of Boseman as the Black Panther. As this was playing the cinema was dead silent. Taking it all in, coming to a realisation that Boseman is no longer here with us.

This film illustrates the realities of life, the aftermath of losing a loved one or coming out of a depressive state. It’s not easy to heal. Wakanda forever reminds us that the healing process is long. Feelings of frustration and despair arise when you are going through a challenging time.

Throughout the film, you can see Shuri( Letitia Wright) and queen Ramonda (basset) trying to keep Wakanda together. They still go about their duties but this time with a heavy heart.

You will really feel for Shuri in this film. She went from being the baby of the family to have to step up to the plate and fill in her brother’s shoes. I’m sure many people can relate to this.

One of the many things I adored about this film was that they still managed to put some comedy in it. Especially with the scenes including Okoye (Danai Gurira) Shuri (Letitia Wright) and iron heart (Dominique Thorne). It warmed me because I knew watching this movie would be emotional already, so to see some light-hearted moments was helpful.

Was truly phenomenal. He owned the screen at all times. It’s like he was commanding you to face him at all times. Not just with his words but with his body language.

Another stellar performance from Angela basset.

That woman is an icon, how she hasn’t won an Oscar baffles me sometimes.

I was not expecting queen Ramunda’s ( basset) sudden death. I thought she would come back to life but even in the movies, there are not always happy endings. With basset, you feel her emotions. Hear the pain in her voice. And deep down you know the cast’s feelings in the film were real. You could see how much each cast member adored Chadwick.

The film was full of Action and beautiful Cinematography, I went to see the film in 4dx and 3d at Cineworld (the best decision I have ever made).

This was the best cinema experience because you felt like you were in the film. The movement of the chairs and the water effects really felt like you were going to battle with Wakanda or you were being invited deep into the ocean to see the city of Talokan.

The ending really brought the tears out. Shuri is seen sitting down on the beach in Haiti.

Reminiscing about her brother(Boseman). Then the film cuts to a montage of the black Panther From the 2018 movie. As this is happening you hear Rihanna’s lift me up playing. Her Powerful and soothing voice creates an ambiance so peaceful. Once again the cinema is silent. We all knew how much Boseman helped shape the Marvel universe.

Tears started streaming down my face.

I never knew the man but you could feel his absence.

The film was out of this world, Ryan Coogler and the rest of the film Crew did an excellent job of encapsulating what black panther is all about.

It felt fresh, warm, and respectful throughout.

They say that after the storm comes the sun, in the post-credit it is revealed that T’challa has had a son (Toussaint) with Nakia for 6 years. So you know the black panther lives on, he never really dies.

This can be used with Boseman. Chadwick may not be with us but the impact and love he had for this world are.
